Get started in seconds

  1. Download the DMG

    Grab the latest release via the download button above.

  2. Drag to Applications

    Install the app like any other macOS utility.

  3. Right-click → Open

    Required for first launch only, since the app is distributed as an unsigned binary.

  4. Grant Permissions

    Allow Shhh to access your Microphone and Accessibility features so it can listen and paste text.

  5. Press ⌘⇧9

    Start talking. It's that simple.

Since Shhh is free and open source, it's distributed outside the App Store. macOS will ask you to confirm on first launch — just right-click the app in your Applications folder and select Open to bypass the initial security prompt.
